Woody Bibens & Associates is focused on building collaborative, long-term relationships with our clients. We’re a small company that thinks big and our clients are small companies that think big. We are progressive, fast-moving and quick to change and work with clients who have ambitious long-term goals that require flexibility, hard-work, determination and a “sky’s the limit” attitude. Our clients consistently lead their industry and their competitors. We are working with two area manufacturers who were among the first in the Midwest to actively pursue diversifying into the renewable energy supply chain. We helped them with a strategy, walked up to the biggest international players in the industry and got the small KC-area company the opportunity to bid on work for one of the biggest wind energy OEMs in the world. We don’t just consult, we also manage the projects and deliver results.
On the not-for-profit side of our business, we led our largest horticulture industry association to implement one of the first e-commerce websites in the horticulture industry. We led the association to implement social media, QR tags and mobile platforms when most of the horticulture industry had never heard of Twitter or QR tags. And then we led the association to use their platform as an educational provider to educate the industry on these new marketing strategies – what they were and how to use them.
We consistently strive to have the difficult but illuminating conversations about long-term strategy with our clients. The horticulture association held a panel discussion at its educational event called Horticulture in 2060. Prior to the panel the industry leaders who were the panelists were e-mailing us expressing concern over just how thought-provoking the topic was. Following the panel, however, the movers and shakers in the industry were excited about the possibilities and the future of what is at the moment a very mature market. One CEO said that in all her years of managing one of the largest international horticulture companies in the world, she had never had the opportunity to sit down with industry leaders from various industry segments and have this kind of discussion about the future. We believe that the future is very bright for our clients but in order to excel, one has to push the status quo, get out of one’s comfort zone and act thoughtfully yet fast and decisively to embrace the opportunities that exist.
